Thank you for
your willingness to partner with us in prayer for the state of
Michigan. As the negative reports continue to sound out
recession, oppression, and defeat, God's Word shouts
breakthrough and blessing! We WILL believe the report of the
Lord!
Prayer Directives for the first
week of November - 2008
UPPER PENINSULA:
Declare, “You are wanted.” Speak to roots of abandonment and
negligence coming from war over it. Michigan won it and then
ignored, disregarded it. Break sense of being owned or
enslaved. Decree, “You are a prize, a gem, a blessing; God’s
gift to Michigan. Out of you will come government leaders to
help turn our state – prophets, teachers, pastors.” We speak a
fusing together of Upper and Lower MI – free flow between. Team
mentality. Speak “Shift NOW!” Alignment NOW. Wrong alignment
has eroded our culture and economy of the state. Shift NOW.
The two are made ONE! Integration of two becoming one. Bring a
hearing of one another. House divided against itself will not
stand. Our state is fusing together. The church is fused
together. Healing in relationship with Native Americans – no
battle even among themselves any longer. A fusing of every
culture; every race. Praise – it is done!
We will not take the
“garbage” of Canada – homosexuality, unrighteousness. Speak a
right alignment to bring blessing to both nations. Pray for
Sault Ste. Marie, Port Huron, and Detroit. A flow of life
between Michigan and Canada. Speak RESPECT in Jesus’ Name.
Call forth resources from other than tourism.
MUNISING: GATEWAY CITY
Love this place. Sensed divine shift taking place. See
services springing up in surrounding towns. Give a cup of
water. Prayed from high place and brought down every other
thing lifted up – religion, religious form. Decree one high
place – Jesus Christ. His rule/reign here. Ask God to use the
city as a lighthouse. Pray divine connects to the remnant
here. A church to be planted to birth a move of God in this
area.
MICHIGAN: There is much
to pray over this land. It has been long neglected and
untended. Weeds have overtaken. Time and effort will make it
fruitful again!
FROM CHOCOLAY TO
MARQUETTE: In the Name of Jesus, break an existing day to day,
and worship of earth. No more worshiping beauty and seclusion
above people. Unitarian Universalist prospering here – no
more! Break worship of earth/natural beauty/worship of self.
Take authority over spirits of selfishness and command to
release grip of hearts and minds. Break spirit of
pleasure/idolatry/adultery.
MARQUETTE TO NEGAUNEE:
God’s cry “What have you done with what I’ve given you?” He’s
given them prosperity. What are they doing for the kingdom?
Pray for church – unity for kingdom/kingdom mind-sets. Break
down and remove rebellion, division, self-seeking. Eyes of
believers open to the kingdom of God. Come against spirit of
cancer – spiritual and natural, eating away from inside.
Outwardly prosperous, inwardly eroding. Silent assault. Spirit
of infirmity assaulting leaders. Speak openness to Word of
God. Call forth Biblical prophetic and the receiving of it.
Drive out fear of losing control which has caused them to
resist; past experiences that cause them to quench real moves of
Holy Spirit. Rekindle excitement to live in Spirit; lift off
lid/quenching of Spirit.
MARQUETTE: Tearing down
Jezebel/controlling spirits in churches. Remove “king-pins.”
Open heaven. Free flow. Rebuke intimidation coming from
controlling spirits. Speak boldness to pastors/leaders.
Leaders LEAD. Strengthen the hands that hang down.
Prayer Directives for the first
week of October - 2008:
St Ignace/Gateway to Upper
Peninsula: We break the power of desolation in the Name
of Jesus. We speak an opening of new wells. St. Ignace has
been ravaged and raped, used by consumers and abandoned by many
works. We break the power of abandonment today. We speak
restoration. There has been disillusionment in the history of
this city as the Ojibwe cried out to the Creator but felt
forgotten and forsaken. We repent of this and end the spirit of
bloodshed. Rachel weeping for her children because they are no
more. We declare an end of child exploitation. In the
authority of our Lord and Savior we break the power of abortion
- driving it out - with murdering spirits, spirits of abuse and
hopelessness. The Father weeps over this city. He sees the
crushed dreams. We speak new dreams into the soul of the city.
Let faith arise! We swing WIDE the gates of the Upper Peninsula
and invite the King of Glory in!
Chippewa City: In the
Name of Jesus we break people and this area out of the "rut"!
Things have been untouched, untampered, and unchanged for too
long. Awaken to change! The wind of heaven blows across the
land. The whirlwind of heaven now uproots and takes out what is
not of God. We decree respositioning and change; an unearthing
of God and His remnant. We speak Divine purpose for this area.
Awaken the move of God. No more lullabys...no more slumber...no
more sleep!
From Chippewa City to Sault Ste.
Marie: We silence the voice of accusation. We decree
there will be no more pointing of fingers; no more refusing to
take responsibility/ownership of issues or blaming others. We
speak a revelation of truth...a sudden breaking in of the glory
of God. We call for an invasion of His Holy Presence...in
prisons, natives, first nations people - a fresh move of God!
We stir up intercession in the church for the forgotten men in
prison. In the Name of Jesus, we break abandonment. We repent
and release from abandonment by the government (when the
barracks were changed to a prison). We break the power of
loneliness. The strongman of loneliness hass ruled since the
military base was there. We speak a breath of life. We decree
the song - "There is None Like You."
Prayer Directives for the Second
Week of October:
Sault Ste. Marie: (Soo
locks/Gateway to Canada): In the Name of our Lord,
Jesus Christ, we break the power of greed. Intercessors have
cleared some of the "air" over this city. Yet we now uproot
pride - the sense of being "better than" others and isolation.
Isolation has kept the move of God from going forward. We
uproot spirits/mind-sets of isolation over the people. We break
the power of pride and arrogance. The city has been in a
"bubble"...we rebuke the false belief that they are better than
others. We uproot dreed causing division and competition.
Ships again will be laden with produce and resources. There
will be new jobs. We awaken the remnant to compassion. Give
them a new love for others. Break their hearts for the lost and
suffering. Release resources and wealth to help others. They
have dared to dream. Declare Isaiah 61.
Swing wide the gates of Canada
that the King of Glory might enter in!
Canada: We rebuke
division and competition between Michigan and Canada - we decree
it ended. We speak forgiveness for the bloodshed. We call
forth "our" brethren. Release fresh wind taking the equipped,
refreshed remnant to the streets. Bring a move that brings
transformation to the nation. We call forth Divine connections
and aligning of relationships between The Potter's House and the
church-planters in Canada.
West Mackinaw/Luce County:
We rebuke a spirit of death over the land and the people. We
speak new growth...life, vibrant forestation. New life
springing up. Death will NOT steal the resources and foundation
of their economy. We speak restoration of their former glory -
breaking death of wildlife. We speak new life and a restoration
of hunting, tourism, and economy. Awaken from your sleep!
Prayer Directives for the Third Week of October
For Michigan:
Michigan WILL trust in Jesus. We see a vessel/cupped hand
distributing the "waters"....pockets of passion for Jesus with
signs and wonders springing up. We cast off despair and the
"same old, same old" mindsets. We call forth spiritual hunger,
hope, expectation, and fiery zeal. The church will NOT be
considered a weak thing in the Upper Peninsula. The voice of
the church is being restored because of righteousness, holiness,
and authority. Their voice shall be heard in the land and will
give direction. The church will be the rudder steering the
state as they pray.
For The Potter's
House FWC: We decree a revelation of self-discipline to
the people; a repentance for the lack of care of their temples.
We pray a revelation that we are carriers of His glory and a
renewed respect for their earthen temples. We speak honor over
their bodies, created by God. We decree restoration of health
and vibrant life!
Prayer Directives
for the Fourth Week of October:
Newberry to
Seney: You are NOT an invisible people. You are known
and loved by God. He SEES you. We break the mindset of "who
cares? No one sees..." The lethargy is broken. We speak an
awakening to all God has for them. Why not every home for
Christ? We stir believers unto faith. We sing the Name of
Jesus over the land and people. Raise up a church who loves
more than labors over the people out of duty; who will truly
LOVE them. We rebuke hopelessness from the region. We breathe
life and revival of hopes and dreams. We break the power of
addiction to alcohol and methanol that would steal life and
breed lethargy and inactivity.
Seney:
We take authority over the heavy hopelessness and mind-set that
prayers have no effect/are useless. We break the power of
disappointment. We speak an opening of blind eyes to closed
businesses to see the vision of the Lord for their lives and
land. Ignite passion once more. Raise up a vibrant church in
this place! From Seney to Munising we sing, "Yes Lord!"
Munising:
We speak LOVE over this place. We sense and decree a Divine
shift taking place here. A move of God resulting in services
being held in surrounding towns. Give a cup of water in the
Name of the Lord. As we stand in the high places of this city
we bring down every other thing that is lifted up - religion,
religious form. We decree one "high place" in Munising - Jesus
Christ! May God use this city as His lighthouse. We pray
Divine connections to the remnant here. We call forth a church
to be planted to birth a move of God in this area.
Pastor
Ron and I began our journey driving north. We soon discovered
that God intended to prompt us with specific direction in prayer
as we traveled. Here are some of the first things we were
directed to pray by the Holy Spirit:
Clare County:
Declare the beauty of the Lord over this county (Psalm
90:13-17; Ezekiel 16:15-25). Break the power of depression,
hope-deferred, and disappointment over the people. Decree
prosperity, new business, and hope! Call the remnant to gather
from the area to the new ministry arising through Matt & Mary
Averill's weekly prayer gathering. God is here in Clare
County. God loves this people.
Roscommon:
Decree a new Life-flow over this area. LIVE! Break the
power of sexual promiscuity, especially among the young. Cut
off and cast out incest. Uncover and uproot all cultic pockets
of activity. Life is flowing. Awaken the remnant! Everything
hidden will be uncovered and truth is coming to the people!
HOUGHTON LAKE:
Restoration of former glory and tourism. They are tired -
tired ground, tired people. Spirit of weariness over them.
Strengthen the weak hands. Sickness has overtaken many for they
have no strength to fight. Bring a new church to this area,
Father. Establish a place for Your people to experience You.
Decree love, acceptance, and joy over them.
LAST WEEK OF JULY:
As we continued our drive north, God poured out His heart
over the communities we passed through...
OTSEGO COUNTY:
We speak over the county - God is GOOD! (2X) We break the
power of lies. We tear down the mind-set that God is hard, that
He forgets. The Lord remembers! God is Good! Jehovah cares
for you.
45TH PARALLEL:
Has been called the most occultic place on earth. Bind
demonic powers of occult and witchcraft. Break the curse over
the land. Decree the disbanding of bultic activity and the
breaking of this cycle for our nation. Decree discovery of new
oil fields bringing prosperity to the state. Call forth record
harvesting of Michigan corn to bless the nation. Speak to the
weather. Call forth record harvest! Sing "Halleluiah!"
CHEBOYGAN/INDIAN RIVER:
Break the power of idolatry (in hills) and release salvation
to the people. Break the stronghold of religion. Break the
"ice" keeping the people frozen from relationship with Christ
and others. Let the Wind blow and melt the hard places. The
spirit of divorce is broken/stopped! Release reconciliation of
marriages and restoration of families. Soar, church - rise up
above distractions, hardships, heaviness, preoccupation with
self and ashes of the past - soar like an eagle above it all to
SEE. Break power of Indian folklore and tear down cites of
worship.
FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST:
As we drove past the Cheboygan/Indian River area, we felt
led to prophesy from that line north into the Upper Peninsula...
We speak to defiant spirits of darkness from this line north
into the Upper Peninsula who defy every move of God. They are
silenced, pushed back. There is no more life in them. They are
hot air that gives no life. They are forbidden to stay. No
more abandonment - abandoning works of God here. Decree a fresh
infilling of the remnant, a passion igniting early fires, vision
renewed, and fresh expectation. They shall begin to feel a
difference this week. Decree a Divine Shift. Ministry will be
easier and there will be a release of salvations, healings.
Ministry will no longer be so hard. Your God exposed the hidden
boundary - not at the edge of a county line, but a hidden line
of the enemy in strategic warfare. The enemy is exposed and
destroyed!
SECOND WEEK OF AUGUST:
It was so wonderful to feel light and life as we entered the
northernmost part of the Lower Peninsula and crossed the
beautiful bridge to the UP...
MACKINAW CITY:
There is a living, breathing remnant already clustering
here...Break isolationist mentality that keeps them apart.
Speak a connection between the Upper and Lower Peninsulas. Come
against a spirit of division. We decree a coming together of
the state and a new flow of resources between. Turn the hearts
of the people and become one state! We decree one state and the
unity of the peninsulas. Decree a sharing of wealth. No
arrogance or pride will separate them any longer. Break a
transient spirit - declare renewal of spirit of covenant and
commitment. Break the power of competition that would try to
undermine and divide. Graft the branch of His remnant into the
Vine. Reveal the cluster group so we can link and assist in
grafting them in. Break the power of denial and surface
relationships.
UPPER PENINSULA:
Break the power of rejection. Decree spiritual connection -
just as those who gave their lives to physically connect the
peninsulas, let there be those willing to give their lives for
the spiritual connection. Break false pride rooted in shame,
ridicule, and rejection coming from UP and speak a new ability
to receive from one another to both the Lower and Upper
Peninsulas. Break off mind-sets of hurt, isolation, and
despising of people. Decree a turning; a warming of hearts and
a desire to connect. Speak that water levels would rise.
Levels rise! Speak that water and wealth will not be stolen -
they can be given but not stolen! Speak RESPECT and HONOR -
this is a key - and bless every one. The people of the north
are wise, intelligent, precious, and valuable.
THIRD WEEK OF AUGUST:
Pastor and I felt a special love for St. Ignace. We walked
around the museum and prayed over the land. We knew God had
something special for this area...
ST. IGNACE:
