What a joy to enter into a time of God’s awesome presence in the midst of our congregational worship.  Each Sunday we see more and more of God and His loving arms surrounding us.  Come expecting!

We invite you to join us as we worship the Lord. We seek to love Jesus and extend that love to each other.  Together, we are united in voice and song creating one big worship team to the Lord.  Be a part of what God is doing at The Potter’s House.

Prophetic Painting

Dandelions were Sylvia’s summertime companions.  But this summer she grieved as she watched them senselessly withering in the summer heat.  Nevertheless, despite the desperation of her circumstances, Sylvia chose to faithfully insist that her Heavenly Daddy would bring rain to revive her dying world.  In those days, as she asked her Father for rain, she continually testified to her companions that her Daddy would soon come with rain.  And when faith nearly gave out, she stirred up her knowledge of her Father’s character and sang songs of hope and deliverance.  She would anticipate the answer to her prayers until it came!  She persisted in hope in the midst of her dying world!  Her Father was a faithful Father!  The rain did come.  In one way or another, the rain always comes.  Where are your eyes in the midst of a dying world?  Look up!  Your Father has not changed.  Insist on WHO He is, not on WHAT is going on!  Insist on being a testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness!  INSIST!! 

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.  “I am sure that neither death nor life. …will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord,” Romans 8:38-39.  “Set your minds on things above, not on things that are on earth,” Colossians 3:2.  “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen,” Hebrews 11:1.  Be convinced of WHO God says He is no matter what is going on and never let your circumstances adjust your testimony of His goodness and faithfulness to us!

Perhaps you are here today, holding on to a promise that is unfulfilled and long awaited.

You long for a sign like the rainbow that I gave Noah, that would affirm my covenant, my holy promise to you.

To this I say, know that my promises are my word and my word is eternal.

Forever my word is settled in heaven. I always perform that which I have spoken.

Have faith in my word and the clouds, no matter how dark, must give way to my light.

And in my light you will see my promises made manifest like the rainbow after the passing storm.

Remember and hold fast to the fact that I have never promised that which I did not plan to give…

Prophetic Painting 11-22-09

Here is the word God gave me: I saw this young child sitting on the grass, her head back, eyes closed- feeling the sun on her face, hearing the birds, warm wind blowing her hair--being truly amazed and enchanted with things she was seeing, hearing and feeling; experiencing pure joy in life!  she can do this because she is pure- Satan has no place in her yet.  She has no fears, no doubts and no anxiety about her life- she knows her parents are in the house very close by- she KNOWS they will come to her at any sign that she needs them.  God said "This is how earthly life was meant to be. This was my plan for my children and it still is.  I sent my son so this plan could be carried out- you are not destitute- I am in the house watching you, able and so willing to fulfill every need you have!  My people, my children, have the assurance as with the little one in the picture that I am there.  Throw back your head and embrace the life I've given you!"

"For I will pour myself out upon you and your household for all to see my glory and power in this time!"

I just sense that in this time as we move forth in praise, adoration and worship, God is going to build our faith.  There will be a light in us that cannot be shut down; a joy in us that cannot be quenched; an authority in Christ's name that cannot be undone.

The church will explode out of the box. It will become alive and on fire for the Kingdom of God!

My dear children,

Perhaps you feel like the figure in the painting

All alone --- surrounded by a raging storm of disappointment

And roaring waves of confusion

With no visible means of rescue or escape in sight

To this I say ---

Remember that I am the author and finisher of your faith

I am He who has the last word in your life

I will turn your loss into my glory

Expect the miraculous

Like Peter, I am saying to you to come

Take a step of faith onto the sea of your adversity

It may seem as though you are defying the very laws of nature

But I will meet you there

Together we will walk across the waters of your pain and sorrow

I will lead you to that place of safety and security that you long for

I bid you to come

And I will provide to you

My unlimited power and infinite love for you

Again I say Expect the Miraculous!!!
